Earlier this year, Atlas Roofing invited several AtlasPRO+™ contractors on a tour of its Franklin (OH) plant, where they were able to see the company's shingle manufacturing process up close.

One of those contractors was John Goodburn, owner of GPro Exteriors, in Gahanna, OH, who says his roofing business switched to Atlas products in 2013 because of its Scotchgard™ Protector shingles (and included warranties).

"The tour through Atlas today was amazing," he says. "We got to see how the product is made from start to finish. We got to see all the care that's put into the shingle and, really, I'm amazed by all of the testing that they do. It seems every half an hour, they're testing something to make sure that our customers are going be given the best product they possibly can."

Goodburn says that Atlas shingles with Scotchgard Protector were a game changer for his company. "[The product is] exactly what I'd put on my home, and that's why I put it on other people's homes. "We try and carry the best products for our customers, and when nobody else could match the warranties or guarantee with the Scotchgard, it was a no-brainer."
