Installing a roof during the peak of summer can pose many heat-related health hazards for workers, such as heat rashes, heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
To reduce these risks, it’s imperative that you and your crew follow proper precautions, which include taking regular breaks in the shade, wearing light colors and/or wicking clothing, and drinking plenty of water.
In our previous article, titled “Heat Inspection,” we shared some tips for staying cool on the hottest days.
