Atlas Pro™ Diamond contractor Dan Worstell graduated from LSU with a degree in construction. He was supposed to be in a coat and tie, carrying a briefcase. So when he reluctantly took a job with a roofing company while looking for other work, he was embarrassed to tell his friends and family.

“As it turned out, I was the one that had the better job by a long shot,” he says. “I got to dress casually and comfortably and ride around town meeting different homeowners and that was fun for me.”

Since then, Dan has grown and sold roofing companies in Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, and Baton Rouge, LA. Now he’s settled in Virginia, as the owner of Pyramid Roofing.

In the first segment of this episode, Dan shares his journey with Tiara and Alex, including why he has a win-win-win mentality and how “lagniappe” translates to excellent customer service and awesome company culture.

We wrap up this episode on a jobsite in Raleigh, NC, where Tiara visits Will Jordan with Ready Roofing. The pair chat about the best ways to build quality relationships and establish great rapport with homeowners.
