There's no such thing as a "free roof."

In September 2019, Texas lawmakers passed House Bill 2102, making it illegal for roofing contractors to assist homeowners in any way to help them avoid paying their insurance deductible. Contractors who violate the new legislation can face a maximum of 180 days in jail and a $2,000 fine.
