Our AtlasPRO+™ Diamond contractors are the definition of loyal.

To reach Diamond-level status, contractors must have maintained three consecutive years of Platinum status, which equates to 300 Atlas Signature Select® Roofing System installations, or 30,000 squares of Atlas shingles with Scotchgard™ Protector. In other words, they live, breathe, eat, sell and install Atlas Roofing products — pretty much nonstop!

The ALP Takes On "The Best of the Best"

As we hit the halfway point of our 40th year, we want to revisit Part 2 of a previous episode of The Asphalt Life Podcast, in which we talked to two AtlasPRO+ Diamond contractors — Mike Guy, of Guy Brothers Roofing in the Florida Panhandle and Southwest Alabama, and Michael Woodward, of Mills Roofing in Fredericksburg, VA.

Humble Beginnings

As you'll hear, Mike and his brother Ronnie started Guy Brothers Roofing in 1971 with $278 and a 1969 Dodge pickup truck. Similarly, Michael’s grandfather started Mills Roofing in 1976 with a station wagon, hatchet and toolbelt and a ladder with missing rungs that he found in downtown Fredericksburg.

Despite their slim beginnings, both of these men have built extremely successful roofing companies (that have been around even longer than Atlas!), which focus on honesty, integrity and dedication.

During the episode, Mike and Michael talk about how technology has changed the way they do business, and they tell ALP hosts Stan Bastek (vice president of sales and marketing), Tiara Searcy (content and digital marketing manager) and Alex Dale (regional sales manager for the Southeast) why they love installing Atlas products.
