Meet Johnny Anderson

Johnny Anderson, Customer Care Pro at our Hampton, GA, plant, kicks off our "Atlas Insider" series with an inspiring story of hard work and dedication to a cause and company he believes in.
Anderson began as a utility man in a felt paper mill in 2003, driving a forklift and sweeping floors. He was later promoted to a raw materials operator, then a pulper operator and a winder operator. After years of hard work, he was promoted once again, to supervisor in the felt mill — a position he held for six years. In 2010, he moved to the roofing plant and worked as a QC lab technician. But when the Customer Care position was created in 2013, it was a job that appeared to be made for him.
Anderson is passionate about serving customers. He truly believes he was born to serve and feels it's his calling to serve at Atlas for as long as possible.
"Listening to customers and treating each one with respect is a priority," Anderson says. "I consider it a privilege to have their business."
In addition, he says walking into work every day and sensing the dedication and passion every employee has toward the ultimate goal of serving the customers well helps to keep him driven too.
"Serving customers is a team effort," he says. This value stems from Atlas Roofing's CARE acronym, which stands for Customers Are the Reason we Exist.
Anderson is proud to be an Atlas employee, "putting CARE into every square."
