Professional contractors recommend annual roof inspections to assess any potential issues or damage that may have occurred throughout the year.

When was the last time your contractor took a good look at your roof? If it’s been a while, it may be time to give him or her a call.

Although winter is not the ideal time for a roof inspection, if your roof is free of heavy snow or ice, your contractor should be able to survey it.

You should contact your contractor right away if you notice any leaks, or if you see missing or bent shingles, piles of leaves and twigs on the roof or bent gutters and/or trim. Addressing these issues before the next big snowfall or ice storm can help to prevent more damage later in the season.
